This Bauer 88D is I think my favourite from the collection - It looks stunning in it’s vibrant blue green metallic finish.
This example does run but sounds rough - I’d not think it’s speed control is very good.
Bauer were based in West Germany, the 88D produced around 1956 being the top of their range. Fitted with 3 lens, mounted in a revolving turret, each with its matching viewfinder. Unlike the Eumig C3, the lens turret doesn’t simply rotate, it is first released forwards by pressing the centre button, this allows the lenses to escape the body before the turret is rotated and clicked back into position.
