Kobayashi Seiko

Kobayashi Seiko slowly morphed into the Japanese giant Seiko, but in the 60s were producing good but ordinary double 8 cameras under the brand name Kopil - Was this to look East European?
A little detail that looks strange today is the use of a wooden knob on the winding handle - I think the only bit of wood in the whole collection!
